Industry Interactions
Workgroups
H2A forms workgroups as needed to address specific issues and/or tasks that are associated with a particular project or initiative, as well as a limited number of topics that represent ongoing work of H2A. Workgroups each have a basic charter, an identified lead, and an individual responsible for documenting the activities of the workgroup. Any member of the network may propose a new workgroup. However, workgroup leads must be representatives of a Contributor, Sponsor, or Industry/Program Partner. In the absence of a designated member lead, a member of the H2A team may serve as an interim workgroup lead. Each workgroup determines a schedule for holding regular meetings based on the specific requirements and availability of its activities and those involved. All workgroups are expected to provide regular updates at H2A meetings. In some cases, access to products of workgroup activities may be limited to Contributors, Sponsors, and other members that contribute to the activities of a particular workgroup.
Liaisons
H2A designates “liaisons” to represent the network while engaging in workgroups or other activities of appropriate organizations. H2A recognizes that there will likely be cases where a Project or Initiative share common goals and/or objectives with a standards organization or another industry consortium. However, H2A will avoid redundancy wherever possible while still attempting to ensure that the Health 2.0 Community has an active voice in such forums, and is in touch with the activities of other organizations to inform H2A’s strategy and efforts. Liaisons do not posses any official power to vote or submit a formal “position” on behalf of H2A without first receiving approval, but are expected to report back to the network periodically on developments in other organizations or consortiums. Become a member and get involved in a Workgroup or as a Liaison
